Named as an accredited Property Law specialist by the New Zealand Law Society, Sam leads the Foley Douglas property team and has extensive experience in conveyancing, subdivisions and land developments of all sizes.

Beyond property, Sam regularly advises clients on commercial matters—whether it’s buying or selling a business, reviewing and drafting contracts, or providing practical solutions for complex transactions.

Sam also works closely with individuals and families on wills, trusts, and estate planning, helping clients protect what matters most with clarity and care. Outside of the office, Sam and his marine scientist wife, Emily, have three children who keep them on their toes. Sam serves on the Board of Trustees at Knighton Normal School, and in his spare time is an avid runner.
